Limousines to and from O’Hare and Midway Airports – An Unofficial Guide to Booking Your Ride

If it’s been awhile since you’ve traveled and you need a safe, comfortable ride to or from O’Hare or Midway airport, we’ve put together a few tips from our most often asked questions to help you reserve a sedan, SUV or limousine for your next airport trip.

Booking Your Flight
You’ll want to inquire about any special travel neeeds or accomodations required for you or anyone in your group. Ask about how much luggage you can bring, the size of each peice, as well as any other items you are traveling with such as: sporting quipment, mobility aids or anything else that is not a conventional checked bag.

More importantly, you should confirm your air carrier’s cancellation policy. Specifically, what type of compensation they will give you if your flight is cancelled the day of your departure including the cost of your reserved ground transportation if you have to cancel with short notice.

Booking Your Ground Transportation
In order to reserve a limo, sedan or SUV to the O’hare or Midway airports, or if you are just checking rates, you’ll need to gather the following information before you call:

Date of Departure
Number of passengers
Amount and type of baggage
Location of pick up
Passenger cell phone
Email address for confirmation and receipts
Location of any stops en-route
Airline, flight number, and departure time
Credit Card Payment Information

In general you should allow 3 hours for international flights and 2 hours for domestic flights. However, depending on the requirements set by your airline, and the specific travel needs of everyone in your group, you’ll need to decide what time you want your vehicle to arrive. You can check for travel times for a limo to O’Hare and for travel times for a limo to Midway. You should add a small amount of time for cushion for traffic delays such as construction, freight train crossings on your route, weather or any other any unforseen circumstances.

Before You Leave The Vehicle:
Check to make sure you have all of your belongings, especially cell phones and smaller bags since they tend to be black and blend in with the black interior of the vehicles.

SEDANS: Require 2-hour cancellation notice otherwise full charge shall apply
